We will talk about the style you want, the surface you would like and the background colors that will complement your dog, cat or horse in your custom portrait.
As a pet artist your input is crucial in the dog paintings process. I want you to be happy with the finished portrait and communication is paramount in my work. I like to paint pet portraits from a main photograph which should be large, clear and in focus. I also like to have a couple of extra photographs for reference especially if the main photo does not exactly represent the colors or personality of your dog.
If your photo has red eye, which happens often, I can fix that but I will need a photograph or digital image with the color of your pet’s eye so that I can correctly represent that in pet portrait. If you want a custom background, I can certainly put one into the painting for an extra fee. If you have more than one dog you would like in the portrait I can do that too! I will do my best to give you the

I can’t find my photos on my computer!!!
Here are the instructions for finding your original photo images on your computer:
The original images might still be on your computer. When you transfer photos from the camera to the computer it first copies them in their original format. Something like this naming convention: DCP01495.jpg (My camera is a Nikon) - This is how they are named before they go through a software program that makes them smaller so that you can send them in e-mails.

What do you want to search for
choose "pictures"
enter this *0*.jpg
hit enter to begin search.
When the search is done, change the view to thumbnails and if you find the original photos, drag them to your desktop and e-mail them to me. I would love a larger version of your photos because it will have so much more detail for me to work from but if not, remember I can only paint what I see. If the picture is
tiny or blurry, the final portraits will not look as well.
